As Design Principal, Stephen uses his talent to balance aesthetics, program and budget during every step of the design process. He strives to achieve a balance of a project's function, the site, its context and environment to create meaningful architecture and successful buildings. Buildings that support user needs, desires, and aspirations, evolve and endure to shape our future. Not solely focused on design, Stephen also has considerable skills in the technical resolution of his designs. He does not "hand off" a project after generating the form but remains a leader of the project team from the conception to occupancy.
As an avid baseball fan who sees design excellence in a well thrown curve ball, Steve finds his nirvana from his seats on the first base line, with a sausage in hand, and his beloved M's on the field.
