History

Keith Schreiber and Phillip Lane established the firm in 1987, continuing a professional relationship that began in 1981. Since our founding, the focus of our work has been almost entirely on projects that result in socially responsible and human-focused public architecture. We enjoy public design as we believe that every project represents an opportunity for architecture to transform civic institutions into vibrant centers of community life. We create buildings that knit themselves into the fabric of their communities.
