Keith Schreiber and Phillip Lane established the firm in 1987 continuing a professional relationship begun in 1981. Since our founding, the focus of our work has been almost entirely on public projects that result in socially responsible and human-focused public architecture. We enjoy public design as we believe that every project represents an opportunity for architecture to transform civic institutions into vibrant centers of community life. These are not to be isolated objects but active places for people resulting from thoughtful and responsible design, creating buildings which knit themselves into the fabric of their community.
